Our Story

Primera Specialty Infusion was built by clinicians who recognized the need for care that is more consistent, more accessible, and more effective. By combining specialty infusion care with wellness support, Primera helps patients achieve and maintain optimal health, supporting adherence and improving outcomes. Every detail is intentional. Every step was designed to deliver a higher standard of care.

Meet Our Team

Dr Raul Badillo, MD

Raul Badillo, MD (Medical Director)

Dr. Raul Badillo, MD, is a board-certified Gastroenterologist and serves as the Medical Director of Primera Specialty Infusion, providing clinical oversight and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and care. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and his Internal Medicine training at the University of Florida, bringing a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and complex disease management.

Dr. Badillo has extensive experience in gastroenterology, chronic disease management, and infusion-based therapies, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. He is actively practicing in Central Florida and has contributed to medical research and education through multiple publications and presentations. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is committed to improving access, supporting continuity of care, and driving positive patient outcomes.
Vanessa Matos

Vanessa Mattos, MSN, FNP-C (APRN)

Vanessa Mattos, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background in primary care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered treatment planning. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and brings a well-rounded foundation in both clinical practice and care coordination.

Vanessa has experience across family medicine, urgent care, gerontology, and hormone therapy, providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations. Her clinical expertise includes diagnosing and managing chronic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients through both preventive and ongoing care.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience delivering care in both clinical and home-based settings, supporting greater access and continuity for patients.

Vanessa is known for delivering thorough, efficient, and compassionate care, with a strong focus on outcomes, patient education, and consistency in care.
Amy Harper

Amy Sue Harper, BS, RMA (CEO)

Amy Harper, BS, RMA, is the Co-Founder of Primera Specialty Infusion, a Patient Advocate and a healthcare clinician with over a decade of clinical experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Management and is a Registered Medical Assistant, graduating as Valedictorian of her class. She maintains advanced certifications in IV therapy and sterile compounding and is currently a master’s candidate at Northbridge University, pursuing her MBA with a healthcare focus.

Amy is an active leader within her community, serving as Chair of Virtually Seminole and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Seminole County Chamber. She is also an Executive Board Member for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Central Florida Chapter and Co-Chair of Sanford Young Professionals.

She is a member of the American Medical Technologists (AMT) and the Infusion Nurses Society (INS), and is committed to advancing access, elevating patient experience, and improving healthcare outcomes.
